Northney Dairy started producing ice cream in 2009. Founded by Tim Pike, who had recently left employment in the civil service, we aim to produce great products that excite our customers. Our ice cream now has a large following in south east Hampshire - in shops, cafes, kiosks and theatres - and we now deliver to dozens of outlets.
Tim’s family has been farming on Hayling for generations, and we welcome visitors to come to our farm and see the cows that produce our milk. You can sit and watch them enjoying themselves in the fields whilst enjoying refreshments from Northney Farm Tea Room - more information at www.northney.farm
Since we started, we’ve developed new flavours and new products. And you can also purchase our milk as well - it might cost a bit more than the supermarkets, but you can get a product that you know exactly where it came from, and what’s happened to it since it left the cow - our milk bottles tell you which day the milk was produced on, not just a ‘use by’ date.
We pride ourselves on working closely with our trade customers to understand their needs and develop a product range and delivery schedule that works for them. We know it’s difficult to predict ice cream sales with the British weather - and we can respond quickly if you’re suddenly much busier than you expected. We have plenty of stock ready for you!
Hopefully you share our passion for great tasting locally produced food, so please check out our products in your local store or eatery - and if they don’t have it, ask them to get some!
